THE SPACE
This comfortably modern and spacious family bach features a bright and roomy open-plan living area on the ground floor, flowing through to expansive outdoor decks that are perfect for Alfresco dining and comfortable lounging.
Enjoy the quintessential Kiwi-family getaway with relaxed family evenings. Nothing invites heart-warming memories than a shared family BBQ dinner, followed by lengthy deep conversations held on comfortable outdoor furniture, with a glass in hand and a cozy throw around your knees, that last well into the evening magically illuminated by deck lights.
The Waihi Beach Hive offers a plethora of amenities from our full kitchen with modern appliances, large dining room, open-plan living areas and five bedrooms which sleeps up to 16 guests. Your children will enjoy a separate playroom where they will find toys, games, and drawing materials. The Waihi Heach Hive offers you a SmartTV, DVD player, and movies for your use.
If you plan on bringing your furry friend, please contact us to discuss for prior arrangements, with a charge of $20 per day for small dogs allowed inside the property’s fully fenced area. Pet bowls are also provided. Please note that pets are the owner’s responsibility, and any deposits must be removed to ensure the property remains clean and tidy for the next guests.
GUEST ACCESS
Bikes of various sizes for both adults and kids are available to explore the neighborhood’s many bike tracks, with safety helmets conveniently stored in the playroom. If you’re looking to hit the waves, take advantage of the 4 boogie boards and various wetsuits provided in the wardrobe of the downstairs bedroom.
THE UPSTAIRS STUDIO
If you require additional space, you can inquire about the upstairs studio at just $160 per night, allowing you to sleep up to 20 people – making it a fantastic option for a large group or family.
The upstairs self-contained studio features 2 bedrooms and large French doors that open out onto a sunny balcony, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The studio includes a kitchenette with a portable cooktop, microwave, benchtop oven, dish drawer, and small fridge, and can be accessed from both inside and outside with a key. The comfortable queen bed in the main bedroom provides a lovely view, while the other bedroom features two singles and a desk for your laptop. The studio’s cute little bathroom includes a shower, vanity, and toilet.
If your group has 10 people or more, the studio is automatically included, otherwise, it will be locked off.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Guests are expected to bring their own bedding and towels.
Experience the perfect Christmas holiday at The Beach Hive! From December 20th to January 31st, you can have up to 20 people stay at our spacious accommodation for a flat rate of $1000 per night (plus any applicable Airbnb charges).
